Atari announced it Years: Reloaded will launch on August 23, 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Switch, Atari VCS, Stadia, and PC via Steam and Epic Store. This is the latest entry in the Atari Recharged series and puts you at the forefront of a daring attack on an enemy homeworld.
Protected by mechanical hives, you’ll need to master smooth flight controls as you search for pockets of safety amidst the hail of fire. Destroy enemy defenses by destroying enemy shields and upgrading the destructive Zorlon cannon. Y
You will need to be aware of visual and audio cues that will allude to impending danger as the levels become more and more complex. Composer Megan Mc Duffee created the original heavy beat soundtrack. I loved Mcduffee’s work River city girls so if nothing else, this soundtrack is worth a look. There’s a new teaser trailer for you to check out, although it didn’t get me excited about the game.
I think it’s great, and it looks like it works really well, they just picked some kind of boring looking play moment to show off, even if that Zorlon cannon looks super fun to use. But I can definitely see the potential in this game, so I think it will be worth reaping when it comes out.
