The response from some of the stakeholders after Sylvester Stallone’s harsh criticism was not long in coming. The actor accused mainly producer Irwin Winkler, but also his friend Dolph Lundgren, after learning about the development of “Drago”a new spin-off of “Rocky”.

Given the uproar aroused on social media among fans of the saga, Lundgren decided to speak out through a post on his Instagram account. In it, the person in charge of bringing the Russian boxer Ivan Drago to life tried to shed some light on the situation surrounding the production of the new film.

“Just to clarify things regarding a possible spin-off of ‘Drago’. There is no approved script, no closed deal, no director and, I personally had the impression that my friend Sly Stallone was involved as a producer or even as an actor. There was a rather unfortunate leak last week. I’m in contact with Mr. Balboa, so fans can rest assured…. That’s all”said the Swedish actor.
Stallone deleted the post.
Aside from Lundgren’s statements, in the last few hours Stallone has decided to delete his controversial post on Instagram. In it, the star of the franchise went so far as to brand the producer and her children as parasites, while she showed disappointment with her friend Lundgren for hiding from him the plans she was pursuing for a character he created himself. We will have to wait to find out if they finally made peace and Stallone will be part of the spin-offor, on the contrary, they will continue with the plan established so far.
