The information comes from Forbes, who assures that director Olivia Wilde’s film for Sony’s arachnid universe has already found its protagonist. It would be Anna d’Armi, that would give birth to Jessica Drewor better known as Spider-Woman in the comics.

The studio also allegedly targeted Rebecca Ferguson for the role, an actress who starred in Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune”. However, the protagonist of Netflix’s upcoming biopic, “Blonde,” is the one who seems the strongest to keep the role within Marvel.

Sony’s arachnid universe

After the releases of “Morbius” and “Venom 2”, Sony is currently building its cinematic universe based on Marvel characters, of which, for now, it has not been clarified how it refers to the UCM, and who the Spiderman belongs to. to this timeline.
