• One or two comfortable items, such as long t-shirt, soft cotton blouse, long tank top
• Flip flops or a pair of socks for cold feet
• A bottle of water (yes, you can drink during childbirth)

• A sugary drink, such as fruit juice
• A hair elastic
• A phone charger
• A comb, not for your hair, but to draw attention from the pain elsewhere by squeezing it tightly in your hand
