BOOM! Studios recently announced the next era of Power Rangers comics is titled Reloaded. To start with Powerful Power Rangers Morphin # 101 and after the Charge to 100, the comic series will go in a “bold new direction” for our heroes. The series will be written by Melissa Flores (Power Rangers, The lucky dead) and drawn by Simona Di Gianfelice (New firefly) at this point, and I’m very interested to see where we go. It’s hard to guess because we’re not even done Charging at 100!
CHARGE A 100 brought it all together in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers # 100, now discover the bold new future for the best-selling franchise in the RECHARGED era as Rangers come together to take on new challenges and face new threats.
Flores shared his excitement with fans:
Being able to write MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS is literally a dream come true and I can’t stop pinching myself. The next few issues will feature a wild ride that will aim to honor the incredible story of this iconic series and push Rangers to their absolute limits.
Di Gianfelice added:
MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS is one of the comic series I’ve always wanted to illustrate! So full of action and emotion. I’m really excited to start this new adventure with all of you, so grab a copy of issue 101 and get ready to be amazed!
Fans will be able to read Powerful Power Rangers Morphin # 101 October featuring a main cover by Mateus Manhanini which appears to feature the Metallic Armor version of the Rangers. Could this be a clue? The variant covers will be available from Good Bernard, Francesco Tomaselli, David Mack, Dani Pendergastand more.
