Hasbro announces plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2022

Hasbro released its lineup for 2022 San Diego Comic-Con, and fans can expect a lot. They will reveal hosting products and panels for Transformers, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, NERF, GI Joe, Power Rangers, Star WarsAnd wonder. They will also debut their brand new selfie series which will allow you to put your face on an action figure. So let’s get into the breakdown of what you can expect.

• Transformers

  • Hasbro TRANSFORMERS Product Panel: Thursday, July 21, 1pm – 2pm | Room: 29AB

    • Join the Transformers product team as Ben (Hasbro Marketing) and Evan (Hasbro Design) take attendees through some brand new Transformers: Legacy revelations toys! The team will also hold a Q&A session to discuss everything Transformers, pop culture and any burning questions fans have always asked for the team.

  • Panel Moderated by Mike Cecchini, Editor-in-Chief, Den of Geek: Friday 22 July, 2: 15-3: 15 | Room 6A

    • This panel will showcase the new original Transformers: EarthSpark animated series. The event will celebrate the new version of the franchise and show that families come in all shapes and sizes. The panel will include series voice actors, including Danny Pudi (Bumblebee), Kathreen Khavari (Twitch) and Zeno Robinson (Thrash), along with co-executive producer Dale Malinowski and executive producer Ant Ward. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the art, casting, never-before-seen clips, and a first look at the line of toys that will be on display after the panel.

  • To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the first live action movie, Hasbro will be hosting trivia sessions, premium giveaways, photo shoots featuring Bumblebee as the 1977 Camaro, and a replica car from the 2007 film and more. Peter Cullen, aka Optimus Prime, will be in attendance on Saturday for a special poster signing session.

  • The team will also have a live unboxing of Transformers: hasLab Victory Saber, a first look and reveal of the upcoming Transformers Generations Shattered GLass exclusive Hasbro Pulse character, and Legacy and Transformers: EarthSpark products will be on display.

• Dungeons & Dragons

  • The first ever toy line for the iconic game. The product line is inspired by the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and details, including the first products to launch, will be revealed on July 21st.

  • A one-of-a-kind Tavern Experience, hosted by Paramount Pictures and eOne, will give fans a preview of the new film. The Tavern, located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter on the corner of Sixth Avenue and Island Avenue, offers an immersive 20-minute experience for unique photo shoots and exclusive takeaways.

• Magic: The Gathering

  • Magic: The Gathering Panel, Blogatog Live: Saturday 18:30 -19: 30 | Room 24ABC

    • Magic chief designer Mark Rosewater presents this personal program in which he recreates his daily blog, answering questions from the audience about creating the popular trading card game and revealing new cards, mechanics and more never before seen from the next version of Unfinity.

  • Stop by the Hasbro booth to sing with Mark Rosewater, lead designer of Magic: The Gathering.

• NERF

  • Hide your children and hide your wives, this year MURPH will make their debut at the Hasbro booth.

  • NERF will announce a highly anticipated new product and attendees will have the chance to see it for the first time at the Hasbro booth.

• GI Joe

  • Hasbro GI JOE: Ranked Series Panel: Saturday, July 23 at 12:00 – 13:00 | Room: 9

    • Whether you are Team Joe or a secret member of Cobra, everyone can agree that the new GI JOE ranked series toy line is an absolute hit! Join Emily and Lenny from the development team to hear never-shared behind-the-scenes secrets, get a peek into the future of ranked series, and learn more about the first GI JOE ranked series HasLab. Be sure to participate … because knowing is half the battle!

  • Be the first to try a painted model of the brand new Hasbro Pulse HasLab, the GI JOE Classified Series HISS Tank. The booth will also feature artwork from the classified series signed by illustrator John Giang, poster giveaways, and more.

  • There will also be a reveal from Hasbro and Entertainment Earth at Entertainment Earth booth # 2343.

• Power Rangers

  • Power Rangers Dino Fury cast members will be at the Hasbro booth for meetings, greetings and signings. Take home souvenirs you will never forget from Dino Fury Pink Ranger Hunter Deno, Dino Fury Black Ranger Chance Perez or Dino Fury Red Ranger Russell Curry.

    • Continue a journey through the Morphin Grid with BOOM! Studios Panel – Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Charge to 100 and Beyond! —A MORPHINOMINAL Celebration of 100 issues in five years of ongoing MMPR comics of BOOM! Studios. Join Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Mat Groom (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and Melissa Flores (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), along with series editors Dafna Pleban and Allyson Gronowitz, for a discussion of the series history and an exciting see what’s next.

• Star Wars

  • Hasbro Star Wars Panel: Friday, July 22, 2pm – 3pm | Room: 7AB

    • Join Patrick Schneider, Chris Reiff, and Jing Houle of Hasbro’s marketing and design teams as they discuss Hasbro’s popular Star Wars line, including the Black Series and The Vintage Collection. Attendees will get an in-depth look at Hasbro’s latest action figure and premium RPG offerings from across the saga. The rumor about Holonet ™ is that there may be some surprises too.

  • Stop by the Hasbro booth for Star Wars product giveaways, cosplay contests, and trivia sessions. You can also collect three posters celebrating recent iconic items within the Vintage Collection.

  • Hasbro Marvel Legends Panel: Friday 22 July from 12:30 to 13:30 | Room: 5AB

    • Steve Evans, Ryan Ting, Dan Yun and Monique Colasante (Hasbro) plus special guest Jesse Falcon (Marvel / Disney) share exciting news for Hasbro’s popular Marvel Legends product line. They will preview never-before-seen upcoming articles and hold a question and answer session for attendees.

  • At the Hasbro booth, celebrate the 20th anniversary of Marvel Legends and the 60th anniversary of Spider-Man with Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing. Expect fun and interactive Marvel activities, including a fantastic virtual Q&A with Hasbro Product Designer Dwight Stall, spectacular guest signings including Marvel Comics writer Dan Slott (Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, She-Hulk) and Eric Lewald, Julia Lewald and Dan Veesenmeyer from X-Men: the animated series. Booth events will also include Marvel trivia for incredible prizes, an ultimate Infinity Gauntlet Rock Paper Scissors tournament, and more.

  • Join the Legends team at Hasbro’s panel for some mind-blowing product revelations and surprises.

There is a lot to see and tons of exclusive products and revelations, so check out the Hasbro booth if you attend. While you can’t attend Comic-Con this year, Hasbro is partnering with Save the Children to offer a purchase, a donation.
