With the success of “Godzilla vs Kong” in theaters and HBO Max, Warner Bros has begun to expand MonsterVerse not only to the big screen, but to streaming platforms as well. For this, earlier this year they confirmed a Godzilla series, which would arrive on Apple TV +, of which the first images have now been leaked.

Filming is currently underway for Godzilla series for Apple TV + in Vancouver, Canada, where the first images of what appears to be a Monarch military base came from, the corporation that made possible the clash between the King of Kaijus and King Kong.

In the pictures from the Godzilla series you can see Anna Sawai, one of the protagonists of the Apple TV series, along with other members of the production on the set where the story of the show will take place. Additionally, director Matt Shakman can also be seen doing his work.

The The Apple series does not have a title at the moment, refers to her as ‘Godzilla and the Titans’, which will have its first two chapters under the direction of Matt Shakman, who has worked on other series such as’ Game of Thrones’,’ The Boys’, ‘Succession’ and ‘WandaVision’.

The future of Godzilla in the “MonsterVerse”

Since the release of “Kong: Skull Island”, MonsterVerse has had several films to expand its cinematic universe, culminating in “Godzilla vs Kong”. Now, the sequel to the latter is already in development, again with Adam Wingard as director.

But before that, the Godzilla series will arrive on Apple TV +, from which it is unknown who will return with their characters, taking into account that Shakman has already worked with Elizabeth Olsen, and that this was part of the first Godzilla movie. ‘Godzilla’ with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe and others.

It is expected that as the Godzilla series develops, more details will begin to be revealed in the following months and, according to estimates, it could arrive at some point in 2023. Although ‘Godzilla vs Kong 2’ has not yet started their footage.
