‘Mission: Impossible’ Director Shares New Tom Cruise Aerial Stunt Image To Honor Star’s 60th Birthday

Frequent Tom Cruise collaborator and impossible mission Director Christopher McQuarrie celebrated the star’s 60th birthday on Sunday by sharing a new behind-the-scenes photo that looks like it was taken from day eight. M: me film, Mission: Impossible – Dead Report – Part Two (see below).

While McQuarrie didn’t add any context to the footage, it does show Cruise dangling from the wing of an old red biplane, similar to what we saw in a prerecorded message sent to Cruise from the film’s set in South Africa. CinemaCon in April.

Cruise spent his birthday on Sunday at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, where he supported friend and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. “He’s my great friend. I hope you have a great day,” Cruise told Sky Sports on the grid. (Hamilton finished third, while Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz took his first career win.)
