I liked it Ghostbusters: Beyondand I’m excited to see what the sequel will be, developed with the working title Fire station – brings us. The next chapter of the story will return to New York City and the original, iconic headquarters of the ghost Buster will be one of the main settings.
Director Jason Reitman revealed some new information about the sequel and the future of the franchise, saying this Erni HudsonWinston Zeddemore will play a major role in the franchise from now on. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the director said:
“Winston Zeddemore and Zeddemore Industries’ character figures heavily in the future of Ghostbusters.”
Good to know! I have no idea if we’ll see any of the other original Ghostbuster characters, but it’s good to know that Winston will be a big part of the franchise’s future. It has been explained that the sequel will be the “next chapter in the history of the Spenger family”, with BeyondThe post-credits scene suggests Winston is taking the new crew under his wing.
The Ghostbusters: Beyond the sequel will be released in theaters on December 20, 2023. Stay tuned as we learn more about the film.
While we wait for the Beyond sequel, there’s a new Dark Horse comic series that will help fill in the gaps in the storytelling.
