The successful Korean series of ‘We are dead’ confirmed a second season on Netflix and in addition, he gave a small taste of which characters would return in his story: several who managed to survive the zombie apocalypse and others that the public thought would die in the first part of the story, but who seem to relive for its continuation.
The story of “We’re Dead” tells how a high school virus outbreak causes a zombie apocalypse and a group of students must find a way to survive the terrifying chaos. In an attempt to get out of this situation alive, some remain on the road, others manage to reach a shelter where the entire population is located.
This situation meant that many of the main characters in “We are Dead” had lost their lives. However, the confirmation of the second season of the Korean series It came with a small clip of the cast that was in the recordings for the new installment and among them stood out some of the actors playing characters who allegedly had already lost their lives.
Thus, the announcement of the second season of “We are Dead” on Netflix revealed that the actors Park Ji Hoo, Yoo Chan Young, Cho Yi Hyun and Park Solomon are back for the new season of this popular series. Additionally, Yoo In Soo and Lee Kyu Hyun may also continue in the story; as shown at the end of the first part of this story.
- Park Ji Hoo returns as Nam On Jo
- Yoo Chan Youg returns as Lee Cheong San
- Cho Yi Hyun returns as Choi Nam Ra
- Park Solomon returns as Lee Soo Hyuk
- Yoo In Soo as Yoon Gwi Nam
- Lee Hyu Hyun as Detective Song Jae Ik
What will the second season of “We Are Dead” be about?
Although Netflix has not revealed any progress on the second season of “We Are Dead”, it is possible that several unknowns are being addressed that have left the end of the first chapter of this popular Korean series: what happened to Lee Chan Young? How did Nam Ra survive as a human zombie? And how did South Korea process the apocalypse?
The end of the first season hinted that Lee Cheong San was dead after a terrible fight with Gwi Nam; however, it was never specified whether he actually lost his life, became undead or if he assumed the curious form of Nam Ra: that of a zombie and a human.
In turn, knowing how Nam Ra stayed alive and conscious despite becoming a zombie is another of the big questions audiences are left with. Not to mention, the world is still intrigued by how the country managed to control and survive the terrible apocalypse that I know was looming over them.
