Despite ‘The paper house: Korea’is almost a portrait of the original Spanish version, they have one or the other difference. The most obvious was the argument behind its story, because in the Asian series it has a more revolutionary twist; but it also highlights the subplot that takes place between The Professor and the police charged with investigating the robbery.

In the Spanish version of ‘La Casa de Papel’, The Professor (Álvaro Morte) and police Raquel Murillo (Itziar Ituño); They meet during the robbery at the Casa de Moneda y Timbre de España: he, knowing who he is, frequents the café where he starts going when he enters the case. Despite the mistrust, they begin to develop a relationship that gradually turns into a love story.

Although it is also very similar to the version shown in ‘La Casa de Papel: Korea’, there is a change: in the Korean series, The teacher (Yo Ji Tae) and the policeman Seo Won Jin (Yunjin Kim), have known each other for a while and although they are not officially dating, they have feelings for each other. The truth is, bonding with the woman in charge of the police has always been part of the mind behind the robbery … that she didn’t realize that he too would end up falling in love.

In both versions, the Professor tries to use the police to learn the details that the authority has on the robbery; however, this goes wrong and he ends up really falling in love with her. This change of emotions will also change her plans a bit: in the Spanish series she is part of La Banda as Lisbon, while in the Korean series she is still unknown.

“The Paper House: Korea” could continue the love story of the Professor and the police

Although Netflix has not confirmed that ‘La Casa de Papel: Korea ‘would have a second season; This is very likely to be the case because there is a lot of history of the original Spanish version that still remains to be told. While he hasn’t had the best response from fans of this TV phenomenon, he does have the opportunity to continue his storyline on the streaming platform.

The first part of “Money Heist: Korea” ended with a key moment in his story: the professor’s discovery that he really has feelings for the police and also the confrontation with the North Korean policeman who believes he is behind the robbery and begins to investigate it. Namely, there is still a lot of the original series that this Korean remake has to tell.

If Netflix confirmed a season 2 for this series, there would be a chance to find out if The Professor and the police really fall in love and follow in the footsteps of the original series lovers: join the robbery and abandon any government-related institution of authority.
