“Based on decades of experience in managing crises and adapting to setbacks, Iger shares her thoughts on how leaders across the country and around the world have succeeded or failed by being challenged at the most critical moment. “Among other things, Iger will explore the importance of understanding the balance between compassionate leadership, decisive action and clear communication, managing one’s own fears, and instinct and analysis in a crisis,” the publisher said.
“The real test of leadership is how you react to unexpected situations,” said Iger. “The pandemic has hit us all like never before, and every day brings new sources of delay. I hope that the principles that have guided me through times of crisis and change throughout my career will help the next generation of leaders face the uncertain future with confidence.
