actor Boba Fett Temuera Morrison is set to star in a new drama series titled Far north, which is currently filming in the remote northern tip of New Zealand. Morrison acts alongside Robyn Malcom (On top of the lake) and play an “everyday couple thwarting the biggest deal ever from an international crime network in the Pacific”.
The series is based on a true story and is produced for Sundance Now. The series was created by David White (This city, meat), which he also directs from a screenplay he wrote with Suli Moa (Shortland Street, The Panthers) And Mingjian Cui (Inked, Meme).
Kelly Martin, CEO of South Pacific Pictures, said in a statement, “This project has been in the making for six years and we are extremely excited to be in production now. “Far North” is an epic story based on real life events and audiences will be taken on an incredible journey when they watch the series. “

The project will be shot in the next 14 weeks where the actual events took place. The completed show will be delivered in six one-hour episodes.
The rest of the cast includes Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi (The panthers); Xana Tang (Mulan, greedy); Fei Li (Island of yesterday, eternal romance); Gabriel Chao Ren (Power Rangers, Cowboy Bebop); Maaka Pohatu (Wild, Paranormal Wellington); And Fay Tofilau (26:29).
