ELESTRALS AWAKENED Brings Growing TCG to 2.5D RPG with Massive Kickstarter

Elestrate them It’s a really fun trading card game that I’ve grown to really appreciate. The team is ready to expand its offering even with a video game. Elestral awakened is an upcoming 2.5D RPG developed for PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch.

You can back the project now on Kickstarter and back it so you can get a discount for when the game releases (currently estimated for December 2027).

Elestrals Awakened invites players to explore a richly imagined world inspired by Greek mythology. Throughout the journey, players will form meaningful bonds with mystical creatures, ascend them into more powerful forms, and uncover the secrets of ancient conflicts between gods and titans.

Elestral awakened It looks like a really fun video game. I think the 2.5D aesthetic does a really good job of combining feelings of nostalgia with a more modern design. It looks good.

Of course, the main driving force appears to be a monster-catching mechanic system, but it looks like there will be more than that, as you can see in the trailer when the player has to dodge the awakened Penterror’s attacks.

Also, thanks to Elestral awakened reaching amazing funding goals, there were additional game modes and bonuses unlocked as ambitious goals. First, the game will offer multiple save files, which makes me very grateful since a very popular monster catching RPG still doesn’t allow this for some reason.

It’s also good thanks to the five additional game modes (in addition to the traditional standard story mode). Elestral awakened will have, meaning you can ideally have at least one save file per game mode.

There is a permadeath mode, a randomizer mode, a speedrun mode, a level cap, and a bond cap which sounds very similar to the popular Nuzlocke modes that some players enjoy in other games.

Let’s briefly look at other aspects of the gameplay. When you start the game, you’ll be able to choose between eight different spirits and their Elestral starter (one pair of each item).

As you travel through the land, you’ll encounter other Enchanters to battle with, and you’ll also be able to interact with Divines like Heracles and Zeus. Spirit Points (SP) is a mechanic I appreciate because it mirrors the Spirit Deck in the TCG. It’s a single resource that acts as health and energy, meaning your ability to manage your SP is critical.

Additionally, you’ll be able to use Empowerment to unlock powers that can alter the world, including changing the weather. As you might suspect, there is the rise Elestral awakened meaning your Kryoling can eventually evolve into Kryoscorch, Sproutyr eventually becomes Centaurbor, etc.

Another aspect that intrigues me is how Nexus has been incorporated. When you use Nexus, you change the elemental spirit of an Elestral which changes its form. The example given is Astrabbit to Ashrabbit, but I imagine that the various Ursa cards will be able to take advantage of this and the various “liths”.

I’m interested to know if this will be limited to just some Elestrals or if all Elestrals will be able to access the Nexus. There will also be Awakened Forms which are “The original and transcendent state of Spirits or Elestrals, where Elemental energies unite rivaling the strength of even the Divines.” It sounds crazy!

When it comes to what makes Elestral awakened different from other games, Dan “aDrive” Clap (creator of Elestrate them) said:

It may sound cliché, but I really believe it comes down to passion. Shady (ShadyPenguinn) and I have spent our careers listening to player feedback on similarly styled games, and we’re leveraging that to create an unforgettable adventure that draws on the best of all worlds and elevates the Elestrals franchise in a way otherwise impossible. When you can create something you love because you simply want to, that’s where the magic happens.

Honestly, Elestral awakened This looks like a fantastic start and I’m very excited to see how it will ramp up pre-launch to its final form. Yes, much of the game takes inspiration from very popular games and at first glance it’s easy to dismiss it as just another generic monster-busting RPG.

However, if you take even 30 seconds to examine the game, you can start to see more complexity and ways in which the team is trying to stand out from the pack. I also really appreciate how they are incorporating key trading card game mechanics into the video game format.

If this has caught your attention, you’ll probably want to pledge at least $25 so you can save some money and get a digital code for Steam or Nintendo Switch when the game is ready to launch.

Higher tiers offer additional rewards including physical items such as limited-print serialized Stellar cards, uncut card sheets, Elestral awakened Founders Promotional Packages and more. Plus, you can always contribute a lower value and then add physical items like the adorable Stellar Lavaddle plush or the Omnilith plush.

I want to underline this Elestral awakened it was the largest Kickstarter campaign for a monster-busting RPG. Clap responded to this critical success with the following statement:

I’m honestly amazed. I’ve been a fan of this genre since I was old enough to read and being able to put my ideas out into the world and have them resonate with people is incredible. The work doesn’t stop there, we have an epic game to make and that’s what I’m focused on now.

Personally I am very enthusiastic Elestral awakened. It already looks pretty good and with a little more development time and funding, I think fans will really enjoy it. Indicate in the comments which item you intend to choose as an appetizer. I think I’ll choose Solar (Sundile) or Fire (Necruff) for my first run.
