A new trailer has been released for the Disney sequel Zootopia 2with the return of the voice cast members Ginnifer Goodwin as Judy, Jason Bateman like Nick, and Shakira like Gazelle. Newcomers joining the cast include Idris Elba in the role of Chief Bogo, Ke Huy Quan as Gary De’Snake, Luck Feimster as appetizers, e Fifth Brunson as Doctor Fuzzby.
The film is co-directed by Byron Howard (Bolt, Tangled, Zootropolis) AND Jared Bush (Zootropoliscreator of Penn Zero: Part-time hero), both administrators of Enchantment previously. The screenplay is written by Jared Bush (writer on Zootropolis, Vaiana, Encanto, Vaiana 2).
The synopsis for the film reads: “In the sequel from Walt Disney Animation Studios Zootopia 2Detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the tortuous trail of a mysterious reptile that arrives in Zootropolis and turns the mammal metropolis upside down.
“To solve the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover in new and unexpected parts of the city, where their growing partnership will be tested like never before.”
This looks like it’ll be a fun sequel for fans to enjoy this Thanksgiving! Check out the trailer below and watch Zootopia 2 in theaters November 26.
