Nicole Kidman (Moulin Rouge, The perfect couple) AND Elle Fanning (We bought a farm, A complete unknown) signed to act in the A24 legal thriller series entitled Discretion. The couple is returning for the series after having previously starring together in the films, including 2017 The seat AND How to talk to the girls at parties.
The show is based on a story still to be published Husbands AND I whisper to work author Chandler Bakerwho will adapt his work for the small screen. A24 has acquired the rights of the series for Discretion In what the company calls a “highly competitive situation”.
It is not known little in history except that it takes place in Dallas and is inspired by the experience of Baker who works as a corporate lawyer. It is planning to develop history in an ongoing series and will produce executive products together with Susannah Grant (Incredible, Erin Brockovich).
Baker is currently adapting his novel Husbands For Amazon MGM and Plan B with Kristen Wiig attached to the star and products. His first film, OH. What. Fun.Written with Michael Showalter and based on his story with the same name, he will be previewed during the Christmas holidays on Amazon Prime. He also has a television adaptation of his novel Teeth in the works.
