The release of decal has just dropped the final trailer for The occupantWhich seems to be an interesting science fiction survival thriller.
Set in the remote and icy desert of Georgia, the story follows She Balinska Like Abby, “a desperate geologist who takes on high risk and remote mining work in the remote wild lands of northern Georgia to finance the experimental treatment of his sister’s cancer.
“But when his helicopter descends and his radio becomes his only line of salvation, Abby finds himself in a survival scenario that is the same part of the ground and the psychological war. He enters John (Rob Delaney), a mysterious voice on the other side. It’s fascinating, it’s useful … and it may not be real.
“As the Oxygen Thins and his doubts of Abbies get up, the real question is not how he will come out, but with who he is talking … and what he wants. He is really talking to someone who can help, someone who says he” know exactly how he feels at this moment “? Spavenic, alone and there is no idea of how to get on.”
The trailer makes fun of a tense and obsessed atmosphere and leans against the disturbing unknown, asking not only how Abby will flee, but if the rumor that the guide is truly an anchor of salvation or something much more left.
The trailer does “a tortuous and inventive survival thriller” and it certainly seems the type of mysterious slow burning that will let you question everything until the end.
The film, written by Philip Michael Howe, Relof Jan Minneboo, Xiao TangAnd Keijzer, it looks like a compact indie gem full of intensity and unexpected twists.
Directed by Hugo Keijzer In his debut in the film, the film recently made waves at the Sxsw London Film Festival of 2025 and is now available on Vod.
