The trailer for murders only in the construction season 5 finds our crime resolution trio that comes across the crowd

Hulu has released a trailer for season 5 of Only murders in the buildingWith return stars Steve Martin, Martin Short AND Selena Gomez. They are reached by the guests of this season: Bobby Cannavale, Téa Leoni, Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, Beanie Feldstein, Dianne Wiest, Logan Lerman, Jermaine Fowler AND Keegan-Michael Key.

Other actors who return from previous seasons include Nathan Lane Like Teddy Dimas, given the last time in season 2; Richard Kindwho played in Vince Fish in season 4; AND Meryl Streep Like Oliver’s wife, Loretta Durkin, of seasons 3 and 4. It is still unknown if the co-creator of an intelligent series John Hoffman has found a way to bring Paul Rudd back this season, following the appearances in the seasons from 2 to 4.

As a short update, in the final of season 4, a new dead victim was revealed: goalkeeper Lester Coluca (Teddy Coluca), a character who had been part of the story since the first day. Poor Lester was found deceased in a water fountain just outside the Arconia by the most unfortunate trio, Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), the residents of Armonia who have a talent to have been captured in the murder mysteries.

In the trailer and today, a police report says that Lester’s death was accidental. However, Charles, Oliver and Mabel know better, so they question everything. They have contributed to investigating four murders so far, of course, that they have been widely covered on their successful podcast “only murders in the building”.

One thing that everyone can agree on is that Lester died in suspicious circumstances, and it was certainly not an accident. At the beginning of their investigation, their protagonists bring them to the dark corners of New York and beyond. The trio discovers a dangerous network of secrets that connects powerful billionaires, mafia of the old school and the mysterious residents of the Armony, such as Howard Morris (Michael Cyril Creighton).

The plot of the mafia seems important, since he revealed that Lester had a meeting with them on the night of his death.
