By publishing his not to blog page, Martin expressed his excitement for the reintroduction of the big screen of Gunn of the man of steel, saying:
“Overes and I are old friends, and this is one of the best superman films for a long time … maybe ever. This new Superman reminds me of the version I used to read when I was a child, the strange visitor of another planet who came to earth with powers and skills well in addition to those of Mortal Men. (And yes, an innocent, of course, has always been an immigrant. And an immigrant.
Martin then praised the appearance, tone and casting of the film:
“The film looks great and James Gunn did an excellent job with the casting. Rachel Brosnahan was fantastic as Lois Lane; I would say that he is between her and Margot Kidder for the best Lois ever.
“And there is no doubt for the best lex. Nicholas Hault was by far the best luthor of all time, a really chilling villain. The child in the boss was excellent. I hope he can play Kal-El in another dozen movies.”
That “guy in the cloak” is David CorenswetBy making his debut as Superman in this very expected film. Martin clearly thinks that Corenswet nailed him and many fans will agree with him.
Gunn’s Superman It is the first chapter on the big screen of the new chapter DCU UNO: Dei and Monsters. This new cinematographic era is launching with a mix of films and shows.
After SupermanWe will see Pacifier Season 2 by the end of the year, followed by Supergirl Hit the rooms next year.
Martin has also made fun of what is happening in his world. Dragon house Season 3 should arrive next year, together with the next A knight of the seven kingdoms series.
And for fans of the games, Martin also touched the Ring Elden Films that is currently being developed. Oh, and if you are a Star Wars Fan, Martin praised Andor Season 2 as “The highlight of the year”. Praise from a narrator master.
Gunn promised a new bold vision for Superman and I think it’s sure to say he has delivered.
