After a debut at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, Samuel Goldwyn Films debuted with the United States trailer for the Italian film Finally the dawnwith the expensive cast that includes Lily James, Willem Dafoe, Rachel Sennott, Joe Keery, Alba Rohrwacher, Michele BraviAND Rebecca Antonaci. The film is written and directed by Saverio Costanzo (Private, In memory of me, Auschwitz 2006, In treatment, My brilliant friend).
The synopsis reads:
“Rome, 1953 Star of the film, a veteran of the classic Hollywood that feels threatened by the new generation of “naturalistic” actors represented by Sean Lockwood, another protagonist of the film;
It looks like an interesting original story. He debuted in a couple of film festivals in 2023, so it is strange that we haven’t heard of it anymore. But you will have the opportunity to view it now, as we are striking theaters and VODs on July 18th. Take a look at the trailer below:
