In collaboration with the French-German broadcaster art, he announced Forteche Miss SaturnoA high school miniseries set in the 1980s, rooted in the emotional rhythms of adolescence and in the sound impulse of New Wave music.
Based on Barbara IsraëlThe novel with the same name, Miss Saturno The 16 -year -old Misericordia follows while fleeing from the French Riviera on a night train. Along the way, a mix of traces of new wave becomes their emotional driving table through memory and trauma, guiding them back through the ups and the broken heart of youth.
This marks the second new project of Forzica since it envelops Arcane Season 2 and is a different and more rooted project for the study. Still elegant, still emotionally loaded, but more intimate of flow.
Founder of forks Jérôme Combe he said in a statement: “With Miss SaturnoWe found a team with perfect artistic sensitivity. Louise Silverio brings his already well -known talent for the stories of maturity, having worked on the award -winning series Happiness and Ceux qui Rougissent.
“Anne refin, who has worked on arcane and musical videos, fully shares our desire to explore a strong aesthetic for today’s young people. This project is an opportunity to explore the indie animation designed for the new generation.”
The 2D animated series is being developed with Arte France and Les Storygraphes, with Silverio Writing and Raffin Directing. It is modeled in ten short episodes, every 10 minutes.
According to the co -producer Annelyse Vieillant Of Les Storygraphes: “At a time when young people are rediscovering the retro musical repertoire of that decade, I am convinced that this free, visceral pop history and will definitely resonate strongly with them”.
That generational thread is exactly what Fortica hopes to draw on. The study says that the series aligns with their profound connection with music as a narrative tool.
The production aims to 2026 with a release in 2027. Forteche is currently in negotiations with international platforms and partners to expand the global scope of the show.
Meanwhile, the team is at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival this week for a special Arcane show. Curated by Riot Games and The Festival itself, the exhibition offers fans a peek behind the curtain with concept art, stage objects and exclusive production materials.
