Nicholas Galitzine I just wrapped up the filming of Masters of the Universe, and while fans have not yet seen the full transformation of Prince Adam into He-Man, now we have our first moody and silhouetting look at the new champion of Eternia.
Galitzine published the photo on Instagram together with a sincere message that reflects on the experience:
“Well, this is a winding on Masters of the Universe. It was an honor that assumed the responsibility to play Adam and He-Man. It was the role of a life and I put everything inside.
The image offers a dark profile of He-Man of Galitzine standing high, sword behind it, but it is enough to make the fans speak. It seems that director Travis Knight is aiming for something visually dramatic and is trying to capture the visual style of the classic cartoon series.
Knight, known for for Kubo and the two ropes AND BumblebeeHe is directing the film for Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films, with a script written by Chris Butler, build previous drafts of David Callaham and the Born brothers.
The film is the protagonist Camila Mendes Like Teela, Alison brie as evil, Jared Leto as a skeletor, Idris Elba Like Duncan/Man-AT-ARMS, Sam C. Wilson as a trap, Hafthor Bjornsson As a goat man, Kojo Atth like tri-klops, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson like Malcolm/Fisto e Morena Baccarin Like the sorceress.
Masters of the Universe follows “the 10 -year -old Prince Adam, who crashed on earth in an spaceship and was separated from his sword of magical power, the only link with his home on Eternia.
“After tracing him almost two decades later, Prince Adam is filled again through the space to defend his planet of origin against the evil forces of the skeletal.
“But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam will first have to discover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.”
