If you think you know what’s going on Ready or not: here I comeactor Kevin Durand It is here to tell you the opposite. During an interview with the comic that promotes the next Slasher Clown in a wheat fieldDurand has dropped some cryptic but exciting outlets for the long -awaited sequel of 2019 Ready or Not.
“Honestly, with those guys, when we’re done AbigailMatt and Tyler and I, we decided that we would make a hundred films together, “said Durand of the directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin AND Tyler GillettAka Radio Silence.
“Tyler raised him. It’s how,” we want you to make the next hundred films. “I was like” yes, ok, let’s make a hundred. I just love working together.
That camaraderie is fueling the anticipation Ready or not: here I comewhich comes from the images of the secgrates. The sequel takes back Samara textureGrace, who barely survived the carnage of the Le Domas family ritual in the first film.
Guy Busick AND R. Christopher MurphyThe writers of the original, are again writing the script, keeping the tone and spirit of the original firmly intact.
But when it comes to the type of character that Durand is playing this time, he stays with tight lips … mainly.
“I really can’t tell you what I am playing there because this would have only given up on a group, but it’s really fun,” he suggested. “And it’s polar in front of what I did with them the last time.”
This is a rather intriguing comment considering that Durand’s last role of silent silence was an executor of Brute crowd Abigail who did not have the most acute survival instincts. If we are looking at a “polar opposite”, maybe this time are we getting the brain on BRown or maybe someone with a hidden agenda?
The cast for Here I come It is stacked and reports a larger, more ambitious sequel. Kathryn Newton (Abigail AND Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantuMania) AND Elia Wood (The Lord of the Rings, Yellow jackets) I’m on board, together with Sarah Michelle Gellar AND Shawn Hatosy. Then there is David Cronenberg.
In the meantime, you can capture Durand Clown in a wheat fieldwhich affects cinemas on May 9th. In it, a teenager and his father move to the city in difficulty of Kittle Springs, just to find himself captured in the middle of a bloody revolt, led by a killer clown named Frendo. He has a terror of small towns, a social decay and a lot of blood.
There is still no release date for Ready or not: here I comeBut with this cast, this creative team and this type of buzz, it seems that fans should tighten for something wild and unexpected.
