FX released the first trailer for Rob Mcelhenney AND Ryan Reynolds’ Welcome to Wrexham Season 4. The series focuses on the promotion of the Historic Welsh Community Football Club as it enters a new hard division.
Among their new opponents in the new division is Birmingham FC, whose co -owner is Tom Brady. “He is not playing – thank God,” says Reynolds when the trailer opens, so the questions “is it allowed to play?”
The Docuseries follows one of the oldest clubs in the world, Wrexham AFC, but in its heart, it is also a city that tries to find joy, hope and pride through the beautiful game.
Since Mcelhenney and Reynolds purchased the club in 2020, they have been on a mission to transform 5th -level red dragons into a true story of successful success. And in reality they are doing it.
Wrexham has risen to League One, which is their highest position in two decades. But pressure arrives with progress: FX makes fun of “a new level of intensity, competition and costs”.
Season 4 will continue to highlight the Wrexham’s AFC women’s team while fighting it in the Adran Premier League Welsh, demonstrating their talent at national level and making their own case by size.
Season 4 promises more heart, more humor and the continuous evolution of a club and a city that refuses to stop dreaming.
