With Daredevil: born again On the horizon, fans are naturally speculating on potential MCU crossover. One thing that many fans wonder is if we see Spider-Man and Daredevil share the screen again after their short interaction in Spider-Man: No Way Home?
Unfortunately, recent comments by Marvel Brad Winderbaum Suggest that the possibilities of Spider-Man who appear in any Disney series+ are not slender to anyone. So if these characters unite, it will have to be a movie.
In a conversation with zero phase: at Film & TV Podcast, Winderbaum has shed light on why Spidey will probably not appeal Born again.
“You know I’m not sure exactly what the rules are, but I think [Sony] Having long -term television rights, I don’t know if this means that it can present itself. You can do as an entertainment of 30 minutes, I think. “
This statement confirms that the legality surrounding the live appearances of Spider-Man are simply complicated. While Marvel Studios was able to present the character in the films thanks to their agreement with Sony, the details of TV rights in long form seem to favor Sony’s control.
Said that, Born again He is not pretending that Spider-Man does not exist. During a recent interview, Charlie Cox AND Vincent d’Onofrio revealed that Spidey gets a mention Born again Second episode.
Hamilton let it slip when he said to the actors: “Wilson Fisk makes a brief reference to a child dressed like a spider in the second episode, which recalls that while this is an intimate history at street level, there are many superheroes outside since your characters exist in the world”.
So, while Spider-Man may not swing Daredevil: born againThe show will at least recognize that it is out there somewhere. If we ever see Charlie Cox’s Daredevil’s team and Spider-Man’s Tom Holland, it remains uncertain, but at some point it must happen!
