John Travolta (pulp Fiction) ,, Mandy Patinkin (Homeland), AND Dermot Mulroney (August Osage County) are destined to act in a new JFK thriller that is established entitled November 1963.
The film comes two times nominated for the Oscar Roland Joffé (The killing fields) and the story “takes place in the intense period of 48 hours surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The film will shed light on “Crime Group the alleged involvement of Chicago Outfit in the assassination and draws directly from the first -hand reports, including the intuitions of the Crime family Sam Giancana.”
Travolta will take on the role of Johnny Roselli, a key figure in organized crime and the man of the outfit on the western coast and Vegas.
Patinkin will star in the role of Anthony Accardo, a powerful and calculating leader of the Chicago group, considered one of the most powerful bosses of crime in America at that moment.
Mulrony will enter the role of Chuckie Nicoletti, the body guard of Sam Giancana and the best known Hitman of the South Side of the Outfit. A further casting is underway.
Nicki Celozzi, Sam Giancana’s grandson, wrote the script and is producing the film. Bonnie Giancana, daughter of Sam Giancana, is also connected as an executive producer.
The project comes as the government on the verge of issuing documents previously classified on the tragic murder.
Director Roland Joffé commented on November 1963: “This is a remarkable cast for an extraordinary story.”
