Daniel Craig leaves the sergeant of DC. Rock project by the director Luca Guadagnino

Daniel Craig was abandoned by the director Luca GuadagninoDC Studios movies Sgt. Rock. There is no reasoning about why Craig came out of the project.R.

Sgt. Rock was established as the next Guadagnino film project with a screenplay for the film written by Challengers AND Queer scribe Justin Kuritzkes.

Craig should have assumed the main role of the film, the sergeant. Franklin “Frank” Rock, who was created by Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert and is mainly known for his role of leadership in the themed comic series I II of World War Our army in warwhich was subsequently retouched Sgt. Rock.

The character appeared for the first time in 1959 and is a hard infantry soldier and without frills that leads Easy Company, a group of hardening soldiers in battle in the European theater of the Second World War.

Rock is characterized by his unwavering sense of duty, by the ability of tough combat and strong loyalty towards his men, often acting as a paternal figure and protector.

His stories are gritty and rooted, focusing on the brutal realities of the war, on the camaraderie among the soldiers and on the personal cost of the battle, making it one of the iconic military heroes of DC.

In reality I liked Craig’s idea to play this character, but it will be interesting to see in which actor comes to replace him. Do any of you have any suggestions?
