Ke huy quan (All everywhere at once, love hurts) AND Lili Reinhart (Riverdale) is destined to act in what is described as a “new race of gender films” entitled Bad guy.
It is said that the film flies “the struggle of a young woman to escape a deadly serial killer through the eyes of man’s best friend, his faithful dog”. It will be interesting to see a horror movie that revolves around the dog as the main character. This is a unique concept.
The synopsis recites: “Gary is a good boy who loves his new owner, Cameron (Ke Huy Quan). It gets delicacies and scaming and life is fantastic. Gary is not allowed in the basement.
“And even if it were, he cannot unlock the doors. But there is a girl (Lili Reinhart) in the basement. And he can’t go out to play. Gary doesn’t know, but it’s his only chance. “
The film comes from the producer of Longlegs and M3gan and will be directed by Jacob Chase (Come and play, the girl in the woods) the screenwriter will be directed Travis Braun ‘S Black List-Topping Script. Filming should start in August in Canada.
Chase said in a statement: “I love dogs. More than people. And I’m tired of seeing horror films in which the dog is the first to die! They are not just pets, they are our best friends and I think it’s time for a horror movie in which the dog is the hero.
“Bad Boy concerns loyalty, instinct and the incredible link between humans and dogs. It will be a very original, rooted, deeply suspended interpretation of a horror thriller. And I am excited to collaborate with Ke and Lili on two roles unlike anything they have ever played before. “
Quan previously he said he wanted to play a “bad boy of Reaaly diabolocal”, so I guess he now has his chance as he holds a girl blocked in her basement.
It seems that it could be a great horror movie! I am excited for this!
