We have a couple of photos to share with you that offer a first look Park Chan-Wook’s Next Film No other choice.
The film is a dark comic thriller based on the 1997 novel Leaveswritten by Donald E. Westlake. The story centers on Burke Devore, a middle-aged manager at a paper company when the cost-cutting ax falls, and he is fired.
“Eighteen months later and still unemployed, he puts a new spin on his job search – with agonizing care, Devore finds the seven men in the surrounding area who could take the job that rightly should be his and systematically kills them.
“Transforming from meek Middle Manager to Middle Manager to ruthless killer, he discovers skills he never knew he had—and that came to him too easily.”
Film Film was adapted by Chan-Wook, Lee Kyung-mi (Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, The truth below),, Don McKellar (The sympathizer), AND Lee Ja-hye (Decision to leave, The handmaid).
Park spoke about the film during an interview with Korean media: “I think it’s been about 17 years since I started writing the script for this film. I’m so touched that I finally finished shooting the work I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I will work hard in post-production to make a film that everyone who participated in can feel a sense of accomplishment. “
The cast includes Lee Byung-Hun, Son ye-jin, Park Hee-Soon, Lee Sung-min, Yeom Hye-ran, Cha Seung WonAND Yoo Yeon-seok.
