A24 has released the trailer for its upcoming horror thriller Opuswhat stars John Malkovich as a reclusive pop star with a nefarious agenda. It seems like the kind of film that will take audiences through an intense experience.
The star follows a young writer played by The bear‘S Ayo Edebiri who is invited by Malkovich to the remote compound. There she finds herself surrounded by her cult of diehard fans, and finds herself increasingly panicked as a twisted plan unfolds around her.
The film was directed by Marco Antonio Verdewho is making his directorial debut, and also features in the cast Juliet Lewis, Murray Bartlett, Amber Halftone AND Tony Hale.
The rest of the cast includes Tatanka means, The young Mazino, Tamera Tomakili AND Stephanie Suganami.
The film will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and will be released in theaters on March 14.
