Daredevil: Born Again Star Charlie Cox has confirmed that the second season of the series will be produced before the first season premieres. The news came from Cox himself during a recent event Fans’ Expo I wait.
Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on Disney+ this March after a series of production setbacks, renovations and delays.
Cox was also asked if fans can expect to see him play the character for years to come, and that’s something he’d be happy to do.
He said: “They’re getting ready to release a comic that’s set in a time when Matt Murdock is in his sixties, so I thought, ‘Oh, okay, great, so we’ve got some time.'”
While there has been talk of plans for a third season, the studio will likely wait to see how the first few episodes go before greenlighting another season.
On Marvel Television Daredevil: Born Again“Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with high skills, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincenzo D’Onofrio) pursues its political endeavors in New York. As their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”
The series stars Matt Murdock/Daredevil, with Elden Henson returned as Froggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll like Karen Page, and Vincenzo D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
Producer Brad Winderbaum he previously teased some of the series’ action scenes, saying, “I will tell you that some of the most brutal action we’ve ever brought to the screen is coming.” Daredevil: Born Againwhich isn’t a horror show, but it actually packs a lot of power and there’s a lot of visceral action, to put it mildly.”
He went on to tease how things have changed, saying, “These characters have matured, the universe is different than it was. Things have changed, society has changed. Matt and Wilson have changed.
“And their characters will collide in ways we’ve never seen before. It’s no longer enough to try to kill each other. There is a whole political game at stake.”
The series is also the protagonist Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, e Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna-Fisk.
It’s also in the cast Margherita Levieva, Michele Gandolfini, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Jeremy Conteand more.
Daredevil: Born Again it is developed by administrators Justin Benson AND Aaron Moorheadwho worked on both Knight of the Moon AND Loki.
Daredevil: Born Again will arrive on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
