The process was made smoother thanks to motion capture pioneer Andy Serkis. Serkis, whose company The Imaginarium operates out of Pinewood Studios, provided assistance during filming.
Moss-Bachrach added: “Andy Serkiswho is sort of the godfather of motion capture, he has this company called The Imaginarium, which is at the Pinewood Studio where we shot The Fantastic Fourand he was very generous.
Moss-Bachrach also noted that he brought the character’s iconic battle cry, “It’s time to strike,” to life on set, though he’s not sure if it will make it into the final cut. “I don’t have the final cut on this, so we’ll see,” he laughed.
When asked about rumors that Robert Downey Jr. would appear as Doctor Doom, Moss-Bachrach dodged the question and jokingly responded:
“Yes, we live together now, he asked me to move in with him. Not going to happen, I have undergone rigorous media training.”
