The INDIANA JONES films are back on Disney+

I have always considered the original Indiana Jones films some of the greatest adventure films ever made. These films have an undeniable charm that keeps me coming back again and again.

So, I’m happy to let you know this Indiana Jones is back on Disney+! If you’re like me, you probably noticed the absence of Indy’s Adventures from Disney+ last year. I

In 2024, all four classic films were removed from the streaming service due to a licensing dispute. While Disney owns the franchise through its acquisition of Lucasfilm, Paramount has long held the distribution rights to the first four films.

But the two companies have evidently worked some things out, or at least made a temporary deal, because the classics are back. Unfortunately, this is currently a US-only surprise. International viewers will have to wait.

It’s worth noting that this may not be a permanent addition to the Disney+ library. Since Disney doesn’t yet have exclusive streaming rights, there’s always the possibility that the films will disappear again when the new deal expires.

For now, the training includes:

  • Raiders of the Lost Ark

  • Temple of Doom

  • The Last Crusade

  • Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

  • Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny

Having the chance to revisit these films is something I will never tire of. So grab your fedora, your whip, and some popcorn and watch some Indiana Jones movies!
