Merry Christmas! To celebrate the holidays, Science SARU has released a trailer for a new action anime series titled Sanda centered on Santa Claus, who embarks on a mission to deliver justice instead of presents.
“This story is set in the not too distant future. A period in which there is a sharp decline in the birth rate. One day a girl disappears from Daikoku Aigo Academy, a center whose motto is ‘a trauma-free education’.
“Shiori Fuyumura, a student who refuses to leave her friend for dead without first conducting an exhaustive search, asks Kazushige Sanda to help her find her.
“However, Fuyumura believes that Sanda is under a certain curse. This unique human drama aims to depict the strange relationship between the two.”
The original manga on which the anime is based was created by Bestiaries Creator Parù Itagakidaughter of Baki Hanma Creator Keisuke Itagaki.
Sanda will arrive next year during the Fall 2025 anime season and the voice cast includes Ayumu Murase AND Hiroki Tochiwho will take on the roles of Kazue Mita and Santa Claus respectively.
