Some interesting new details have emerged Christopher Nolanis the next big film project, which is titled The Odyssey.

:The film brings Homer’s seminal saga to IMAX theater screens for the first time and will be released in theaters worldwide on July 17, 2026.
Nolan has assembled an impressive list of actors for the film which includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson AND Charlize Theron.
Nolan will write and produce Emma Thomas under their Syncopy banner and the production start date is set for the first half of 2025.
Homer’s Odyssey is a Greek epic poem that recounts the challenging journey of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, as he strives to return home after the Trojan War.
Over the course of ten years, Odysseus faces a series of dangerous trials, including encounters with the Cyclops Polyphemus, the enchantress Circe, the seductive sirens, and the wrath of the sea god Poseidon.
Guided by his wits and resilience, he overcomes these obstacles as he longs for his wife, Penelope, and son, Telemachus, who await him in Ithaca, fending off opportunistic suitors vying for his throne.
I can’t wait to see what Nolan’s vision of this epic story will look like!
Holland recently said he joined the project without knowing many details. “To be honest, I don’t really know what it’s about.
“I’m super excited, but the project has been pretty quiet. I met [Nolan] and it was fantastic. He explained roughly what it is, and I’m sure when he’s ready he’ll announce what it is.”
Well, now we know what the movie will be and I can’t wait to watch it!
