“The Gambler’s Wife” (2026)

Małgorzata Szumowska’s film “The Gambler’s Wife” will reveal the details of the foreign honeymoon trip of Fyodor Dostoyevsky and his young wife Anna Snitkina. Starring Aimee Lou Wood (White Lotus) and Matt Dillon (The House That Jack Built). The plot is based on Andrew D. Kaufman’s book The Gambler’s Wife: The True Story of Love, Risk, and the Woman Who Saved Dostoyevsky, which tells how Snitkina saved Dostoevsky from his gambling addiction.

“Lermontov” (2027)

Pavel Lungin’s film “Lermontov” will tell about the last hours of Mikhail Yuryevich’s life and his fatal duel.
