The Apple TV+ science fiction series Silo has been renewed for seasons 3 and 4, and the show will end with season four. The renewal news comes as the post-apocalyptic drama is currently halfway through its second season.
Silo is based on the bestselling “Wool” trilogy of novels by Hugh Howey. It tells the story of “the last ten thousand people on Earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and anyone who tries to find out risks fatal consequences.”
Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliette, “an engineer searching for answers about the murder of a loved one and stumbles upon a mystery far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if lies don’t kill you, the truth will. “
Showrunner and executive producer Graham Yost said in a statement: “It has been a very rewarding experience adapting Hugh’s epic novels with our partners at Apple and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this complete story to the screen over the course of of four episodes”. seasons.
