Barrett Carnahan (Cobra Kai) is the latest actor to join the cast of the fifth season of the fantastic Apple TV+ sci-fi series For all humanity.
He will have a recurring role in the series and will take on the role of Marcus, a recent college graduate living on Mars.
Carnahan played the younger version of John Kreese (Martin Kove) In Cobra Kai, which is preparing to conclude its sixth and final season in 2025.
For all humanity explores what would have happened if the global space race had never ended. The series presents an ambitious world in which NASA astronauts, engineers and their families find themselves at the center of extraordinary events seen through the prism of an alternate timeline: a world in which the USSR beats the United States to the moon.
The description for the upcoming season reads: “In the eight years since season three, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its presence on Mars by turning former enemies into partners.
“It is 2003 and the space program’s attention has been focused on capturing and mining extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars.
“But simmering tensions among residents of the expanding international base threaten to destroy everything they are working for.”
For All Mankind was created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi. Carnahan joins the expanding cast that includes Mireille Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufmann, Ruby Cruz AND Ines Asserson.
Wolpert and Nedivi will be the showrunners of the fifth season.
