Bill Burr is set to write, direct and produce a new sports film titled Born losers with Skydance Sports producing the project.
There are no plot details of the film to share as it is still in the early stages of development. Burr is writing the script with the producer Ben Tishler. It is also the first project developed by Burr’s newly formed production company, North Hill.
Burr recently hosted SNLand together with him he will also make his Broadway debut Kieran Culkin AND Bob Odenkirk In Glengarry Glen Ross in 2025. The comedian will also release his eighth-hour special on Hulu in March.
Skydance Sports launched in 2021 and has become a preeminent studio for A-list leagues, teams, athletes and Hollywood talent seeking to produce premium sports-related entertainment.
His first two projects include the Emmy-nominated docuseries Good rivals and the Golden Globe nomination Airboth streaming on Prime Video.
