Giovanni Cena (The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker) AND Eric André (The Trolls Unite, The Eric Andre Show) will be the protagonists of a new comedy for Netflix entitled Little Brother.
The film follows “a famous real estate agent whose carefully curated world is turned upside down when his eccentric ‘little brother’ unexpectedly reappears.”
Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, said in a statement: “We’re really looking forward to making documentaries and being part of [WWE’s] great story and characters and do it from the unscripted and scripted side.
“Again, we have so many great stars that come from WWE that we’ve had a great relationship with both on TV and in film. We’re about to make a new movie with our John Cena.
“It’s a really great comedy called Little Brother [starring Cena] and Eric Andre together, and we’re super excited about it.
WWE Content Manager Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque added: “When we first met you and your team Bela, you were open to ideas, thoughts and concepts that are so outside the box.
“What WWE brings to the table is this platform that is willing to go in any direction, which is an amazing opportunity for us to say, where do we want to go with this person? This not only affects the WWE stars, but also the celebrities who come to see what we do.”
The project was born from the screenwriters Jarrad Paolo AND Andrea Mogel.
