DC Studios has released a new promotional video for Commando of creaturesand includes Creator James Gunn showing the voices of the cast from the series trailer for the first time and you can see their reactions.
This show has received great reviews and I can’t wait to watch it when it releases on Max this week!
The series “tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. When all else fails… they are your last, worst option.”
Gunn, who wrote the series, previously said: “The new series picks up directly after the season one finale of Peacemaker, which leaves Waller with her hands tied operationally, meaning she’s no longer able to get away with anything. putting human lives in danger. carry out his morally questionable clandestine missions. Instead, he recruits a ragtag band of misfits, not unlike the Suicide Squad and Peacemaker.
The team in the series consists of a human, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster and a gorgon. The voice cast includes Davide Porto as Eric Frankenstein, Sean Gunn as Weasel and GI Robot, Franco Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Maria Bakalova in the role of Princess Ilana Rostovic, Indira Varma in the role of the Bride, Zoe Chao as Nina Mazursky, Alan Tudyk as Dr. Phosphorus, with Steve Agee reprising his role as John Economos from Peacemaker.
Commando of creatures will premiere on Max on December 5, 2024.
