Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to direct an untitled AI thriller and Anne Hathaway is set to Star. Beyond that, Ryan Johnson is producing the film through his T-Street Productions.
Gordon-Levitt also wrote the film’s screenplay with Kieran Fitzgerald, who previously co-wrote his 2016 Oliver Stone film, Snowden. Both share the “story for” credit. Natasha Lyonne (Poker face).
There are no details to share about the story, but it will be interesting how they perform from an AI perspective. There are so many different directions to go.
Gordon-Levitt has previously worked with Johnson on projects such as the high school film noir Brick and the sci-fi action thriller Looper. He also appeared on Poker Face.
Gordon-Levitt made his directorial debut with the 2013 film Don Jon. Additionally, the actor previously worked with Hathaway in Christopher Nolan’s 2012 film, The Dark Knight Rises.
The actor will soon be seen starring in Mark Heymann-direct horror film Pendulumto produce Darren Aronofsky.
