Wednesday Production on Season 2 has wrapped, and to celebrate, a first-look photo has been released Jenna Ortega while the title character seems moodier than ever.
Ortega is joined in the series by Luis Guzman returning as Gomez Addams and Catherine Zeta-Jones returns as Morticia Addams.
Also includes the cast of season two Sunday of Joy like Bianca, Joanna Lumley like grandmother, Emma Myers like Enid, Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, Billie Piper like Capri, and Thanks Newton as Dr. Fairburn, along with Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Evie Templeton, Owen PainterAND Noah Taylor.
Lady Gaga will also appear in the next season. Guest stars for season two include Jamie McShane, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, Fred ArmisenAND Christopher Lloyd.
Wednesday is described as “a detective, supernatural-infused mystery that traces Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.
“Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago, all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships ”.
Alfred Gough AND Miles Millar (Smallville) are the writers and showrunners, with Tim Burton executive producer and director of several episodes of the show’s debut season.
Speaking previously about what we can expect from season two, Ortega said: “We’re definitely leaning a little bit more towards horror but it’s really, really exciting because throughout the show, whereas Wednesday needs a bit of an arc , she never really changes and that’s the wonderful thing about her.
He continued: “There are really, really good jokes, and I think everything is bigger, it’s much more action-packed. Each episode will probably feel a little more like a movie, which is nice.”
