Here’s a trailer for an upcoming independent horror film titled Recoveryand it looks like it’s going to be a well made and pretty scary movie!
In the film, “After the death of his only son, a grieving father is haunted by a demon known in Irish folklore as Fetch.
“In Irish folklore and literature dating back to the 1500s, writers from the island nation wrote of mythical beings known as ‘Fetches’ who haunt people whose days are numbered.
“According to legend, Fetches take the physical form of the humans they visit – and if your creepy doppelganger visits you in the evening, it means your death is imminent.
“But if they come to visit you in the morning, you can prepare for a long life ahead of you.”
The film is directed by JC Doler, who is making his directorial debut. it’s star Robert Longstreet, Alessia Palladino, Logan Donovan, Shannon CochranAND Tripp Toupal.
The Fetch will premiere at the 2024 Austin Film Festival in Texas this month.
