Emma Stone he’s come a long way since appearing in the teen comedy Supervillain. While she was great in that movie, it was the movie Zombieland which truly launched her acting career into a whole new stratosphere.
The stone one Zombieland co-star Jesse Eisenberg she recently recalled what it was like to read with Stone during her audition and talked about what she did to wow the creative team.
He said: “I was already in the cast of the film, so that day I was auditioning like a lot of people for his part. The actors at that point were all amazing actresses, but they were all trying to get into the movie, so they were really polite and everything.
He goes on to say that Stone stood out from the rest of the actresses auditioning and that involved making fun of him.
Eisenberg continued, “And then [Stone] she came in and started teasing me in the scene, like pelting me with insults in the scene and it was so funny.
“They were so fast, so funny and sharp. And she left the room and I felt so, so small. We were like, “Oh my God.” That person is a genius.’
“And maybe he was 19 at the time of the audition too. I mean, he’s a really spectacular, unusually brilliant person.
This is definitely one way to make an impression and it worked. Her eccentric and magnetic personality won her the role, and the rest is history.
