Teo Giacomo (The gentleman) will be the protagonist of the next horror film The Holewhich will be directed by Kim Jee-woonwho is a great director and is behind the brutal revenge thriller I saw the devil.
The Hole follows Owen (James), “a successful professor living abroad in South Korea, bedridden after a devastating car accident that killed his wife Sandy.
“He is placed in the care of Yuna, his Korean mother-in-law, but when she begins to reveal the devastating truth behind Owen and Sandy’s marriage, and Owen himself, his road to recovery is threatened.”
The film will be told in a combination of English and Korean languages, and the story is set in both countries and “the respective parts will be shot in the United States and Korea.”
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Hye-young Pyun and the screenplay was written by Christopher Chen.
Sam Email, Chad HamiltonAND Nick Krishnamurthy they are producing for Esmail Corp together Kimberly Stewart AND Alex Foster for the means of period K e Andy Sorgie via Paisan, his KPM-backed banner.
Jay Choi and Jee-woon are producing Soon Ho Song who will serve as co-producer for Anthology Studios.
Principal photography is expected to begin in the first half of 2025.
