Jackie Earle Haley is set to star in an upcoming game show-themed slasher horror film titled I’m your host.
The film follows “a group of friends trapped in a deadly game, where they must outsmart a sadistic serial killer in a terrifying race for survival.”
The film’s producers said in a statement: “Jackie’s ability to convey complex emotions and his extraordinary screen presence make him the perfect choice to direct this film.
“His performance will elevate tension and horror to a whole new level, and we can’t wait for audiences to experience his incredible performance in I Am Your Host.”
Haley is a very talented actor who doesn’t work hard enough these days. Haley was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2006 Academy Awards for his performance in Todd Fields’ Satirical melodrama of 2006 Little children.
He later played the role of Rorschach By Zach Snyder 2009 DC Comics superhero film Guardianswhich led him to take on a number of different roles. But then it turned off. So, it’s great to see him get another big movie role.
The film will be directed by DW Medoff (Pollen, I will never leave you alone) from a screenplay written by Joey Miller. Seth Michaels, Sara Sometti, Michaels AND Reece Foster they are producing.
