Lionsgate has announced that it will produce a third film Orphan horror film franchise. It was also announced that the star of the franchise Isabelle Fuhrman will reprise his role in the film.
Orphan 3 has officially received the green light from the studio and is developed by Dark Castle Entertainment. Norman Golightly, co-CEO of Dark Castle Entertainment, said in a statement:
“Dark Castle is thrilled to announce another terrifying chapter in the Orphan saga. With the past success of the first two films and another compelling plot, we are confident Orphan 3 it will be a must-see film for both current fans of the franchise and new fans.
Orphan: First killthe writer David Coggeshall (The Family Plan) wrote the screenplay and directed William Brent Bell (The boy franchise) will also return to helm the film.
There are no plot details for the film to share, but it will be interesting to see what kind of story they tell with this third chapter of the story.
