Kevin Bacon AND Kyra Sedgwick are ready to direct a new film project together, a horror comedy entitled Family films. They will also star in the film together with their children, Travis AND Sosie Bacon.
The film follows an “eclectic but close-knit family of filmmakers who suddenly find themselves in a real-life horror film when a dead body turns up on the set of their latest low-budget slasher.
“As the production spirals out of control, they realize that the only solution to continue filming is to hide the murder, by any means necessary.”
The film’s screenplay was written by Dan Beers (Early) and is produced by Norman Golightly at Dark Castle Entertainment.
Golightly said in a statement: “There may not be a more compelling Hollywood family than the Bacons. We can’t wait to bring their unique dynamic to the screen and then turn it wildly on its head for audiences.”
This sounds like it could be a fun and interesting film project, and it’s a Bacon family affair!
