Ryan Reynolds is working on a new film project that will reunite him with his Deadpool and Wolverine creative team of Hugh Jackmann and director Shawn Levy.
This isn’t a Marvel project, it’s something completely different and Reynolds is writing the script. He shared the news on Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast.
He said: “I’m spending the year writing. I’m writing a movie for myself, Hugh [Jackman] and Shawn [Levy] doing something like that isn’t Marvel.”
There are no plot details for the film to share, but it’s something Reynolds is very excited about. He hopes to create something “fresh and unexpected”.
This mystery project will be Reynolds’ third collaboration with Levy. They also worked together on the action comedy Free boy and the science fiction adventure film The Adam project.
It will be fun to see Reynolds and Jackman together again on the big screen in some sort of wild adventure.
